Dan Grobler

Dan is passionate about Biokinetics, because of its unique ability to deliver real and lasting changes to create a better balanced, supple and pain-free body.

Dan Grobler is highly skilled and has practised Biokinetics since 1990. He is experienced in dealing with a wide range of conditions ranging from work-related problems, sports injuries, stress-related issues and chronic pain. Dan believes treatment works best when you are educated and empowered, so he takes the time to make sure you understand what’s happening every step of the way, and work together with you to achieve success.

At Dan Grobler Biokinetics UK, we believe overall health is only achieved when you acknowledge and address the needs of the whole body.

This is also the philosophy behind Biokinetic medicine – the entire body must function together for optimal health. If one part of the body is compromised with an injury, then the rest of the body must adapt and compensate for this, eventually leading to inflammation, pain, stiffness and other health conditions.

Our approach is to use non-invasive manual therapies that focus on achieving total body health by treating and strengthening the musculoskeletal framework, which includes the joints, muscles and spine as well as the body’s nervous, circulatory and lymphatic systems.

As a Biokinetics practitioner, I encourage you to become an active participant in your recovery plan. I work closely with you to improve your ability to move as you recover from illness, disease, injury or long periods of inactivity.

What is Biokinetics?

Biokineticists focus on two main sectors, namely Orthopaedic and Cardiac/Chronic Rehabilitation.

With Orthopaedic rehabilitation, very often the patients present themselves for treatment without referrals. The Biokineticist has to be exceptionally well versed in all the orthopaedic tests and assessments. The Biokineticist has to make the diagnosis and determine the course of treatment.

With Cardiac rehabilitation, the patient is most often referred by a GP or consultant and is then entrusted with the full monitoring of the patient while under a scientifically designed program.

This is also the philosophy behind Biokinetic medicine – the entire body must function together for optimal health. If one part of the body is compromised with an injury, then the rest of the body must adapt and compensate for this, eventually leading to inflammation, pain, stiffness and other health conditions.

Still unsure?

If you are unsure whether Biokinetics can help you, please send a contact request, and we will call you back to discuss your condition, or to arrange a free 15-minute consultation where we can discuss your symptoms in more detail.

What to expect at your first appointment:
After documenting a thorough case history, I will assess the area of pain and some related body areas – for example, may need to examine your low back and with a shoulder problem, I will determine your integrated mobility.

A comprehensive plan of action will be discussed. Please wear or bring comfortable loose clothing that allows movement- shorts or leggings for example.

After a thorough assessment, I will discuss the findings and proposed treatment plan. You will have time to ask any questions, and if you are happy to proceed, we will begin your treatment.
